Overview
Golf DEN is an indoor golf simulator inside Denver International Airport. NVZN built Layover Legends, a bragging-rights wall that turns a great shot into a moment.
The Problem
Customers crushed drives and made aces with nothing to mark it. There was no reason to come back and beat the record, and no shareable moment.
What We Built
A system that captures named longest-drive and hole-in-one events straight from the simulators, ranks them on a public standing board, and takes over the bay TV with a “Now Boarding · LAYOVER LEGEND” airport-departures reveal when a customer tops the leaderboard. No prizes, no handicap math, pure flex.
The Stack
A Python/FastAPI agent on the bay hardware feeds Supabase, a Next.js standing board ranks the leaders, and the reveal runs on the existing Chrome kiosks, built to update live bay PCs safely and remotely during business hours.
